THE FAMILY OF CAROLYN SUE WHITSETT-WALL (1946-2018)

Descendants of Isaac Whitsett of Lauderdale County, Alabama
The only child of Isaac Whitsett and Elizabeth "Betsy" Wilson to have descendants was William Wallace Whitsett, his one son William Isaac. William Wallace Whitsett was "killed by a Yankee" (Union soldier), near Wright, Lauderdale County, Alabama, on his way home after being discharged from the Confederate Army, probably because he was still in uniform.

James Guy Whitsett, father of Wayne Whitsett and grandfather of Carolyn Sue Whitsett; photo taken in the mid 1950's shortly before his death on April 21, 1956. He was the son of William Isaac Whitsett and Fannie Belle McDaniel who came to Arkansas from Lauderdale County, Alabama.
